"BRIGITTE"

Brigitte is built around one of the most iconic figures of the collective imagination. I chose an instantly recognizable face because it represents the identity we believe we know: the image, the roles, the expectations, and the definitions that often end up speaking for us.

For this reason, the figure is not simply depicted but physically fractured. The crack is not a painted effect; it is a real, performative, and unrepeatable gesture that becomes an essential part of the creative process. Breaking is a way of interrupting everything that continuously tries to define who we are, allowing something more authentic to emerge.

The fractures are then reassembled with gold—not to conceal them, but to acknowledge their value. Each reconstruction becomes a symbol of transformation, suggesting that what appears to be a loss can become a source of meaning.

Brigitte is not only about an icon. It is about all of us, and about the search for the most authentic version of who we are.
